Job Summary: The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of interior design and construction projects, with a focus on game rooms and golf simulators. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, interior design, and construction, along with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Management:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with clients, designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and met.
Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure timely completion.
Lead and manage project teams, including designers, contractors, and subcontractors.
Provide clear direction and support to team members, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to achieve project goals. - Quality Control:
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards. - Client Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status.
Address client concerns and requests promptly and professionally.
Maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. - Budget and Cost Management:
Monitor project budgets and control costs to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
Approve project expenses and manage vendor and contractor payments.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. - Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, plans, schedules, and reports.
Prepare regular progress reports for clients and senior management.
Ensure all project files are organized and accessible.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field.
- +3 years of experience in project management, preferably in interior design or construction.
- Strong knowledge of interior design principles, construction processes, and building codes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smart sheets).
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing projects related to game rooms, entertainment spaces, or golf simulators.
- Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Familiarity with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
