Job Summary

Vancity Labour Supply Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Operational Plans

Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and optimize warehouse operations, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruptions.

Inventory Management

Organize and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring timely and efficient stock management, and minimizing stockouts or overstocking.

Team Coordination

Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, fostering effective communication and collaboration to achieve common goals.

Reporting and Analysis

Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse operations, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.

Problem-Solving and Training

Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality, while training and developing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a warehouse or supply chain environment

Language

Fluent in English

Work Hours

40 hours per week
