Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at The Home Depot Canada. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals to deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales growth, and maintain store profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Team Management
  • Lead and motivate a team of retail professionals to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Coach and train associates to improve their skills and knowledge, and provide feedback and recognition to support their development.
Customer Service and Sales
  • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, including responding to customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, including promoting products, managing inventory, and analyzing sales data.
Store Operations and Maintenance
  • Oversee the daily operations of the store, including managing inventory, maintaining store appearance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve store efficiency, including streamlining processes and reducing waste.
Financial Management
  • Manage store finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve store profitability, including managing inventory, controlling costs, and optimizing pricing.
Communication and Collaboration
  • Communicate effectively with customers, associates, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and that they are informed about store policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including district and divisional resources, to ensure that store goals and objectives are aligned with company-wide initiatives.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business or retail management.
  • 4-10 years of experience in retail management, including experience in leading teams and managing store operations.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Results-oriented leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze sales data and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, associates, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including nights and weekends.
