We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at SOO SOLUTIONS INC. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, managing staff, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, ensuring they have the necessary training and resources to excel in their roles.
- Merchandise and Services: Determine the merchandise and services to be sold, and locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale.
- Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales growth and increase customer engagement.
- Budgeting and Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed decisions to optimize profitability.
- Recruitment and Supervision: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, and conduct performance reviews to ensure high performance standards.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or management role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a focus on attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Adaptability, analytical skills, integrity, positive attitude, proactive approach, time management, client focus, judgement, and ability to multitask.
- Hours of Work: 35 hours per week.
- Duration of Employment: Permanent.
