Logistics Project Lead Role Overview

At BRP, we're seeking a skilled Logistics Project Lead to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you'll be responsible for analyzing the impact of new model introductions on warehouse space, packaging, labor, transportation, and inventory. You'll work closely with other departments to propose solutions and optimize costs related to parts transportation, packaging, inventory management, logistics labor, and warehousing capacity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze the impact of new model introductions on warehouse space, packaging, labor, transportation, and inventory.
  • Propose solutions in collaboration with other departments to establish the best solution for the company.
  • Analyze finished goods inventory and measure the impact on warehouse space and manpower.
  • Identify and analyze budget requirements for various projects and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Perform analyses to optimize costs related to parts transportation, packaging, inventory management, logistics labor, and warehousing capacity.
  • Collaborate with local teams to maintain finished goods inventory in a FIFO concept.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to keep logistical knowledge up to date for electric vehicles.
  • Create good communication and teamwork with the local team.
  • Suggest improvements to current tools used for scenario analysis and logistics calculations.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations/logistics management, or other relevant field.
  • Five to ten years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or relevant field.
  • Experience in project management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual, with an advanced level of English and French (Spanish would be an asset).
  • Excellent command of PowerPoint, Excel, and project management software (Smartsheet, MS Project).
  • Ability to communicate and synthesize complex information to various audiences.
  • Sense of initiative and challenge, autonomy, structure, and rigor.
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team.
  • Available to travel abroad 3 to 4 times a year.
