We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Systems Project Coordinator to join our team at Soucy. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of electrical projects from design to commissioning.

As a member of our engineering team, you will work closely with our Engineering & Maintenance Manager to plan, coordinate, and manage projects, including supervising and managing labor, both internal and external. You will also be responsible for maintaining our building and machinery, as well as supporting our maintenance team, production, and IT departments.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Coordinating and managing all stages of projects, from design to commissioning, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Planning and organizing project resources, including labor and materials.
  • Acting as a technical leader and providing guidance on project needs and costs.
  • Maintaining and improving our Guide Ti maintenance management software.
  • Designing and implementing electrical controls and plans using software such as AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Programming programmable logic controllers (PLC) and human-machine interfaces (HMI).
  • Analyzing data using SQL computer language and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and providing support to our maintenance team.
