Job Opportunity: Manager of Housing Policy & Strategy

This exciting role involves leading a team of professionals to provide housing policy leadership, project management, and high-quality analysis and strategic recommendations.

You will work closely with senior leadership, the Minister, and government stakeholders to support informed decision-making on the Province's housing priorities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead a team that produces robust analysis contributing to evidence-based decision-making and long-term strategic objectives for housing.
  • Manage major strategic projects for housing.
  • Develop and evaluate housing policies and programs.
  • Create reports, summaries, analyses, cabinet submissions, and briefing notes as required.
  • Coordinate corporate reporting and accountability processes for the housing branch.
Requirements and Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as public administration or social sciences, with several years of experience in policy development and team leadership.

You should have knowledge and understanding of policy and legislative processes, as well as government decision-making processes and corporate issues.

Demonstrated experience in staff supervision, policy analysis, interpersonal skills, excellent writing skills, and broad understanding of corporate and government issues are essential.
