Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Human Resource Business Partner to join our team at Intel Corporation. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing HR strategies that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Influencing and partnering with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that align with the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.
  • Managing the HR strategy, including identifying, aligning, and optimizing HR programs, processes, and services to enable business success.
  • Conducting effectiveness coaching with senior leaders to improve leadership capability and resolve leadership gaps.
  • Providing workforce planning and organization assessment to support incremental and transformational organizational change.
  • Partnering with leadership teams to deliver against business and people objectives, promoting a high-performance culture.
  • Encouraging positive employee relations by using sensing tools, engaging directly with employees, and monitoring organizational health.
  • Acting as a steward of corporate HR practices, guidelines, and policies, and role-modeling Altera's culture and values.
  • Using credible domain expertise to lead talent decisions, forecasting, and workforce planning, in partnership with business and Talent Acquisition partners.
  • Providing advice and counsel to Executives and Sr. Leaders on all talent matters, identifying key talent, organizational planning, succession, talent reviews, recognition and rewards, performance improvement, terminations, employee relations issues, and corporate people movement.
  • Partnering with leaders to address the root causes of HR issues by leveraging strong organization, business, and financial acumen to increase productivity, engagement, and organization health.
  • Managing talent pools at the business level and playing an active role in the recruitment and interview processes, influencing selection processes that encourage diversity of candidates, geographic workforce, and use of best hiring practices to attract talent.
  • Using data to understand the health of talent and related HR services within the business and developing interventions in partnership with the COEs to resolve business challenges.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Canadian employment laws and regulations, as well as HR policies and procedures.
  • At least 5+ years' experience with three or more of the core aspects of human resource management: employee relations, performance management, leadership development, coaching, change management, talent acquisition, workforce planning, talent management, organizational planning, and solid experience developing solutions based upon data analytics.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
  • Demonstrable ability to influence decision-making with leaders and business partners.
  • Strong organizational skills: demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate concepts into actionable items.
  • Experience conducting investigations and managing a structured performance management process.
  • Consultative style and approach with ability to develop credible relationships with business partners.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully partnering with executives and managers in support of business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
