About the Opportunity

As a key member of our team, the Team Lead will play a critical role in coordinating and supervising the operation of community-based mental and addiction services programs. This includes delivering mental health and addiction assessment, treatment, and disposition planning to clients and their families. The successful candidate will ensure the provision of comprehensive services to this target population and liaise with local inpatient, outpatient, and community-based services and agencies to promote consistency and continuity of patient care.

The Team Lead will provide clinical supervision and support to a multi-disciplinary team, including ongoing and extensive clinical supervision to new clinicians and those with little experience in this specialty. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team and make a meaningful contribution to the delivery of high-quality mental health and addiction services.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy, or Clinical Therapists from an acceptable educational institution. The ideal candidate will have five years' experience in mental health and addiction intervention and be licensed with the applicable body (NSCSW, NSBEP, or NSCOT). The successful candidate will provide evidence-based therapeutic intervention to mental health and addiction clients and ensure that all clinical staff provide effective and evidence-based treatment modalities.

The Team Lead will also identify areas for service improvement and facilitate and evaluate quality initiatives. This includes drafting Standard Operating Procedures, orientation materials, and other guidelines for care. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership and supervision to the multi-disciplinary team and ongoing and extensive clinical oversight to new clinicians and those with little experience in this specialty.

Hours

This is a long assignment full-time position, with 75 hours biweekly. Travel to various sites may be required.

Compensation and Incentives

The successful candidate will be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan. The hourly rate for this position is $51.72.
