About the Opportunity

As a Clinical Social Worker within our Inpatient Units, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive clinical services to individuals in need. Key responsibilities include screening, assessment, counseling, treatment planning, discharge planning, crisis intervention, group programming, case management, and consultation. You will require a strong understanding of harm reduction, recovery models, and the psychosocial rehabilitation model.

About You

We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, registration with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers, and at least two years of post-BSW clinical experience. Desirable skills include knowledge of community resources, proficiency in screening and risk assessment, and the ability to build collaborative relationships.

Working Conditions

This is a casual relief position with a competitive hourly rate of $33.97 - $42.68. The successful candidate will be required to work evening and weekend hours as needed.
