About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will play a critical role in providing direct pharmaceutical care to inpatients and outpatients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing patient counseling and medication monitoring
  • Mentoring students and participating in clinical pharmacy research
  • Liaising with Community Pharmacists and providing education and drug information

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A graduate degree in pharmacy from a recognized institution
  • Eligibility for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Pharmacists
  • Completion of a hospital pharmacy residency program or equivalent experience in a hospital setting

Hours and Compensation

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 75-hour bi-weekly schedule. The hourly rate is $43.67 - $53.24, and successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
