Career Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Human Resources Director to join our team in this key role. This position is responsible for the development and administration of our People & Culture strategy, ensuring we attract, retain, and develop top talent.

Job Summary:

The Strategic Human Resources Director will oversee recruitment, retention, and associate relations, as well as health and safety, personnel records, legal compliance, policy development, and performance planning and training. This role requires strong leadership skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive People & Culture strategy to drive business results
  • Oversee recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and hiring decisions
  • Maintain accurate and complete personnel records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Monitor and report on key HR metrics, such as employee engagement, turnover rates, and time-to-hire
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to set long-term staffing goals and strategies
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers and supervisors on HR-related matters
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, as well as Company policies and procedures

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in HR, with increasing supervisory responsibilities
  • Human Resources Certification preferred
  • Hotel experience an asset
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • High School diploma required; Post-secondary education and/or HR Training considered an asset

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous retirement plan.
