We are looking for a visionary leader with extensive experience in the transportation market in BC, particularly in urban clients and projects. As the Director of Transportation Engineering in British Columbia, you will develop and implement strategic initiatives to expand our business in the region, collaborating closely with other CIMA+ sectors.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and leading business and strategic development initiatives for regional objectives
  • Collaborating with other CIMA business lines to identify and pursue opportunities with BC municipalities and clients
  • Creating a growth strategy and implementing it with the addition of Transportation staff to CIMA+
  • Providing thought leadership, regulatory oversight, and mentorship to the developing and growing team and your clients, both internal and external
  • Engaging in cross-sector development initiatives such as green transition, EV, transit, building, land development, and other disciplines
  • Championing safety and quality and ESG initiatives

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field
  • At least 10 years of experience working in the transportation market in BC, with a focus on urban clients and projects
  • Professional Engineer registration or eligibility to be registered in British Columbia
  • Experience with corporate strategic planning initiatives and a demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful strategies
  • Demonstrated considerable understanding of the overall market, including future influences and trends, with a focus on urban municipalities

We offer an attractive compensation package, with an estimated salary range of $149,000 to $196,000, based on your skills, experience, and qualifications.
