Job Summary
This role is for a highly skilled Document Control Specialist IV to manage asset data in a fast-paced project environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Gas, Liquids, and Power projects, with a comprehensive understanding of documentation and turnover process requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Document Control and Records Turnover services for Gas, Liquids, and Power projects, supporting Business Unit requirements across the project lifespan.
- Coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure timely vendor record turnover in compliance with Final Vendor Data Book requirements.
- Process project documentation for retention through auditing records, asset data, and metadata attribution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address and rectify record and data deficiencies, managing multiple projects independently.
- Provide technical support and leadership to project teams, interpreting business requirements and recommending process improvements.
- Offer expertise in using information management tools and applications (SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerBI) to facilitate effective project management.
Requirements
- Diploma in Information/Business Analysis/Records Management/Library Studies or equivalent post-secondary education.
- Minimum five years of experience in a project environment or equivalent related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in identifying, tracking, and managing asset data.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and with minimal supervision.
- Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Experience with document control systems, such as SharePoint.
- Self-motivated team player with exceptional analytical, interpretive, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Capacity to handle high workloads, tight timelines, and high-impact activities.
Benefits and Salary
The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Randstad Canada offers a competitive compensation package, benefits, and opportunities for career growth and professional development.
