TEAMS Transport is seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist to join its administrative department. This individual will be responsible for managing various HR-related systems, standardizing HR resources across the organization, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in similar roles and be well-versed in how large companies manage their HR resources. This experience will enable the successful candidate to strengthen and develop new systems and procedures at TEAMS Transport.

The HR Generalist will be accountable for:

  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for all human resource-related matters.
  • Coordinating operational, health, and safety meetings and reporting requirements.
  • Organizing and coordinating all hiring processes at TEAMS.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for all HR-related questions from staff and drivers.
  • Creating and processing all documentation for each employee.
  • Coordinating employee surveys and engagement initiatives.
  • Staying up-to-date with current legislation and potential future changes.
  • Contributing to various projects aimed at standardizing templates and procedures throughout the organization.
  • Ensuring compliance with data integrity and security policies.
  • Providing administrative support as required.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A post-secondary HR Administration program or equivalent studies.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent program of studies.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills in person, via email, and over the phone.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn in-house computer programs.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Initiative and a positive attitude.
  • Reliability and dependability.
