About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Catering Product Manager to join our team at Air Canada. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day commissary product portfolio, including planning and communication of inflight requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the commissary product portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products, ensuring deliverables meet safety, operational, financial, and commercial requirements.
  • Support the implementation of new product initiatives, including cost analysis and vendor management.
  • Manage the commissary unit cost sheets and mitigate billing issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of products and services.
  • Source products outside contractual scope and research alternative options.
  • Manage the printed and digital menu programs, including volume forecasting, shipment tracking, and communication.
  • Support the Supply Chain team to develop consistencies and efficiencies within the products.
Requirements
  • University degree in marketing, hospitality, or culinary arts preferred.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Experience in airline catering and vendor management an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High degree of adaptability and flexibility.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, as required.
