**Job Summary**

Brandt is seeking an exceptional individual to join our service department as a Field Heavy Equipment Technician for our Agriculture Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining all systems on agricultural equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Diagnose and repair complex issues on agricultural equipment, including engines, transmissions, electrical, hydraulic, and air conditioning systems.
  • Provide mechanical support from the field, traveling to customers to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections, including fluid and filter changes, testing, and adjustments for optimal performance.
  • Recondition pre-owned equipment to meet high standards.
  • Accurately record field reports for service writers, including warranty invoicing and records.
  • Maintain communication with internal support to quickly diagnose problems and provide solutions.
  • Develop relationships with customers in different communities in Alberta, building business and providing exceptional service.

**Required Skills and Experience**

  • Heavy Equipment Technician or Agriculture Equipment Technician certification.
  • Previous field/on-the-road technician experience is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills and a passion for problem-solving.
  • Experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment.
  • Ability to complete detailed repair order notes on each job.
  • The desire to continue learning updated equipment technology as the industry evolves.
