Job Summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on our equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy equipment, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Conduct advanced diagnostics to identify and repair complex equipment issues.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient and effective equipment maintenance.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices for equipment maintenance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience with heavy equipment maintenance or repair preferred.
  • Apprentice Level 2-4 certification desired.
  • Advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
