We are currently seeking a dedicated full-time Maintenance Technician to become a part of our team. This role presents an excellent opportunity to either begin or advance your career with Bravo Target Safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relevant equipment end-user certifications (e.g., Skid Steer, Jordair Compressor Level 1).
  • Comprehend the proper usage and limitations of relevant equipment.
  • Adhere to all guidelines and preventative maintenance schedules set forth by the organization and manufacturers.
  • Engage in facility audits, toolbox meetings, and emergency response drills.
  • Follow all established safety practices and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for specific tasks.
  • Conduct regular operations and basic preventative maintenance on air compressors.
  • Verify, print, and upload necessary documentation and records.
  • Organize the yard and workshop, clearly distinguishing between inspected and out-of-service equipment.
  • Oversee the upkeep, maintenance, and repairs of the fleet (trucks and trailers).
  • Identify required services and tag equipment that is not safe for operation.
  • Assist the Fleet Coordinator with scheduling preventative maintenance appointments, including the transportation of units.
  • Perform general grounds maintenance in various weather conditions.
  • Undertake additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds or more.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Valid class 5 license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience operating skid steers is an asset.
  • Familiarity with hauling trailers and equipment is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Jordair compressor operation and maintenance is beneficial.
  • Understanding of TDG compressed air 1002 regulations is a plus.
  • Experience with high-pressure valves and fittings is an asset.
  • Familiarity with DOT guidelines is beneficial.
  • Experience using various hand and power tools is an asset.
