About the Role

As a Small Business Development Manager at Scotiabank in Windsor, ON, you will have the opportunity to work with high-value and complex small business owner relationships. Your primary goal will be to achieve retention and other negotiated goals while meeting Scotiabank's Service Standard.

Your Responsibilities
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of clients to provide comprehensive advice and enable them to build successful businesses.
  • Create a strong presence within the local business community by developing relationships with various Centres of Influence.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • You must possess a results-oriented attitude and sound knowledge of the small business market, including features and benefits of products and services.
  • You should demonstrate excellent business development techniques and be conversant with competitor offerings and alternate sources of financing.
  • You need good organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
  • You are a strong relationship builder and communicator; enjoy meeting people and collaborating with others.
  • You have an education in a business-related discipline or equivalent work experience as a small business owner.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are also required.
