About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Development Coordinator to join our team at Mount Royal University.

This is a full-time replacement term position, working 35 hours per week with potential for additional hours for events.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and growing a leadership giving and annual giving pipeline, including the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of annual giving donors.

They will work collaboratively with internal partners on fundraising initiatives and report to the Manager, Annual Giving and Gift Compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain a pipeline of leadership giving donors, working closely with Student Awards and Annual Giving teams.
  2. Cultivate relationships with existing donors and identify new opportunities for growth and engagement.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop strategic plans for Leadership and Annual Giving Team.
  4. Manage prospect/donor relationships using RENXT CRM and track interactions and communication.
  5. Develop and distribute stewardship reports to donors and track outcomes.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have a strong background in nonprofit management or a related field, with a minimum of three years of experience in development, fundraising, or a related field.

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. The CFRE designation is an asset.

You should possess excellent technical writing skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate effective communication and collaboration skills.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills are essential for this role.
