We're excited to announce a unique opportunity at Pekarsky & Co. for a Head of Strategic Land Development. This role is ideal for a commercial property developer and leader with extensive experience in building communities.

As a senior executive, you will lead ATCO's commercial land and real estate development work on strategically located land. You will be responsible for refining and realizing the vision for the land development, zoning plan, project execution, leasing, disposition, and management of mixed-use assets on ATCO-owned land in Calgary.

The successful candidate will have a post-secondary degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience. A minimum of 10 years of experience in progressive commercial or real estate development roles, with particular expertise in building communities, is required. Additionally, a minimum of 5 years of experience formally leading others, with a proven ability to inspire, mentor, coach, and oversee the work of others, is necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive development vision and strategy experience related to major land development projects in Alberta. They should also have demonstrated expertise in project management, construction risk, and costing. Strong network and relationships with local development community and municipality are highly valued.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to shaping future communities and advancing urban development alongside an industry leader. The estimated salary for this role is $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
