Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Project Coordinator to join our team at the Alberta Courts. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to lead various technology projects and contribute to the transformation of our organization.

About the Role
  • This is a hybrid role that will involve working in our Edmonton office, with some flexibility to work remotely.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating and implementing multiple technology projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery of products and services.
  • Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with stakeholders, project vendors, and GoA departments involved in the project.
  • You will prepare reports for management regarding project status, compile project charters, and develop business/project plans.
  • You will also manage project resources, tasks, and action items, following up and escalating as required.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate and implement various technology projects, overseeing all aspects and building an effective operating environment.
  2. Build and maintain working relationships with stakeholders, project vendors, and GoA departments involved in the project.
  3. Prepare reports for management regarding project status, compiling project charters, and developing business/project plans.
  4. Manage project resources, tasks, and action items, following up and escalating as required.
  5. Develop and present clear presentations for engagement with stakeholders, steering committees, project groups, and other stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in managing custom application development projects with at least 5 team members.
  • A strong understanding of project management principles, including scope, timelines, budget, change, risks, and issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and project vendors.
  • Experience working in a hybrid environment, with flexibility to work remotely.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
