About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading reliability improvement activities, stewarding predictive/preventative maintenance programs, and conducting root cause failure analysis. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

This role requires a high degree of autonomy, with the ability to work independently and make critical decisions. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct Reliability Analysis: Develop and implement reliability improvement plans to reduce downtime and increase overall equipment effectiveness.
  2. Lead Predictive Maintenance Programs: Steward predictive maintenance programs to ensure proactive maintenance and prevent unexpected equipment failures.
  3. Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis: Investigate equipment failures to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  4. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with operations, maintenance, and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  5. Develop and Implement Corrective Actions: Create and implement corrective action plans to address identified issues and improve overall reliability.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering and reliability analysis.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and make critical decisions.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $$95,000 per year, based on industry standards and the location of the position. HF Sinclair offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a generous retirement plan.
