As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day leadership to a team of Planning Directors, Financial Planners, and Regional Administrators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the success of our Financial Planning Centre of Excellence by providing a unique lens on the work of the Service delivery team.
  • Partner with the Leader of Financial Planning Support to identify opportunities for that team to engage advisors in further developing their financial planning capabilities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure the successful implementation of opportunities identified by the Financial Planning Service team.
  • Lead and manage a regional team of professional financial planners, ensuring they have a high level of technical competence and expertise.
  • Maintain a current and thorough knowledge of estate and financial planning through research and industry-related functions.
  • Act as the voice of the Financial Planning service delivery team within the EFPS organization.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Insurance Sales Directors and Advanced Case Managers to ensure a smooth Case Consultation process.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in a financial planning or related role.
  • One or more of the following: CFP, CLU, TEP, CPA, LLB, FEA.
  • Expert knowledge of estate and financial planning.
  • Expert knowledge of industry-related issues in the estate and financial planning.
  • Previous leadership experience and demonstrated ability to provide strong leadership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Proven record of high achievement and result orientation.
  • Experience working with a variety of financial planning software.
