About the Role

The Strategic Finance Director will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive financial strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and objectives. You will lead a team of finance professionals and provide guidance on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. Your expertise will help us make informed decisions and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies and plans that support our organizational goals
  • Lead a team of finance professionals and provide guidance on financial planning, budgeting, and analysis
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to identify business opportunities and develop strategic initiatives
  • Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to inform business decisions
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate financial records

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA) or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in a municipal or non-profit sector
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial strategies and plans
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and leadership abilities

What We Offer

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of $101,663.73 to $130,189.79 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package and a defined benefit pension plan.
