Are you a financial planning expert looking for a new challenge? We're seeking a Strategic Financial Planner to join our team at MD Financial Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute quarterly business plans to drive sales growth and meet individual and corporate targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to deepen their financial knowledge and leverage our expertise.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial plans and investment strategies for clients, ensuring alignment with their goals and risk tolerance.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and MD's program and process requirements, ensuring compliance and excellence in service delivery.
  • Conduct financial planning seminars and information meetings to educate clients on new strategies, legislative changes, and MD's programs.
  • Collaborate with marketing and management to identify new product and service opportunities.
  • Travel within established circuits to meet with clients and partners.

Requirements:

  • University degree in business, commerce, or a related field.
  • CIRO (IIROC) license as a Registered Representative, with completion of the Canadian Securities Course and Conduct & Practices Handbook.
  • Completion of the Group Annuity Sector (PQPAV) or Life License (LLQP), depending on location.
  • 2+ years of financial planning experience in the financial services industry.
  • Strong marketing, presentation, and communication skills.
