Job Description

The Machine Operator plays a vital role in maintaining production efficiency by performing routine maintenance and basic restarts on machines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide continuous machine support by monitoring secondary equipment for uptime efficiency and equipment safety.
- Understand the impact of Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) to effectively communicate with Shift Leaders regarding repetitive breakdowns.
- Resolve ongoing machine-related problems, including full bowls, closing machine restarts, grinder jams, color changes, and purge removal from nozzle leaks.
- Perform beginner-level preventative maintenance tasks, such as repairing conveyor issues, material jams, and cleaning filters.
- Conduct material changeovers, including color changes and additives.
- Supply materials to presses.
- Restart Injection Machines for mold protections and intermediate troubleshooting skills.
- Assess root causes beyond mold protection.
- Fix minor cosmetic issues, including burns and string flash.
- Maintain proper documentation for all materials and machines.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience in manufacturing or injection molding preferred.
