Our clients include industry leading organizations who partner with us to be an extension of their HR & Recruitment function.   Position: Senior Control Specialist Location: Cambridge, ON  Pay Rate: $40 - $50 per hour (depending on experience) Industry: Manufacturing / Automation / Controls / Electrical Employment Term: Fulltime / Permanent   Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Develop controls designs and electrical schematics
  • Commission and test machines and equipment at client site 
  • Robot programming and configuration of multiple manufacturers industrial robots
  • Develop PLC/HMI/SCADA programs using various platforms
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
  • Manage client relationships and project scope as needed
  • Other related duties as assigned.
  Qualifications & Experience:
  • Post Secondary education in electrical engineering, controls, or a related field
  • 7+ related Controls Specialist experience
  • Knowledge of different programming software (Rockwell, Siemens, Omron, etc.)
  • Technical understanding of SCADA, motion control, and peripheral systems
  • Able to travel local and international as needed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
