We are seeking a Chief Financial and Costing Specialist to join our finance team.

Job Summary

The Chief Financial and Costing Specialist will report to the Finance Manager of Operations and be responsible for leading the North American Group's financial and analytical reporting. This individual will work with various levels of the organization, providing recommendations for continuous improvements and ensuring consistent application and compliance on processes, systems, and reporting that impacts finance.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial reporting. They will also have experience with business ERP systems, such as SAP, and advanced level MS Office Suite skills.

Responsibilities
  • Leads Operations Finance team with inventory management, production reporting, and standard costing calculations for existing and future products.
  • Engages with Operations to understand spending trends and discover cost reductions.
  • Drives the development and monitoring of appropriate performance metrics enabling informed decision-making.
  • Develops and updates various monthly financial reports, analyses, and complex accounting activities for entities within North America.
  • Evaluates and makes recommendations to improve efficiency and controls within financial departments.
Requirements
  • Candidate must hold a CPA designation or equivalent experience.
  • University degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of significant work experience, including financial reporting.
