About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at AAREAL STAR DEVELOPMENT INC. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to the desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure surfaces are in good condition.
  • Painting and Finishing: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and schedule work to ensure timely completion.
  • Customer Service: Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings, and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Work Environment

As a Painter, you will work outdoors and at heights, and may be exposed to odors and other environmental factors. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, and to follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
