About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Aareal Homes Inc. as an Exterior and Interior Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to the desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and surfaces, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Painting and Finishing: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and schedule work to ensure timely completion.
  • Customer Service: Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings, and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors, at heights, and in environments with odors.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
