About the Role

Gurudatta Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled Painter - Interior and Exterior Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all interior and exterior surfaces are properly prepared, painted, and finished to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Finishing: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, and apply a smooth finish to ensure a professional-looking result.
  • Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces using a variety of techniques.
  • Wall Covering Installation: Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a precise and professional fit.
  • Customer Service: Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and schedule work to ensure timely completion.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
