We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Culinary Leader to join our team at Bairrada Churrasqueira Grill Inc. In this role, you will oversee the culinary operations of our restaurant and ensure that all dishes meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Culinary Leadership: Develop and implement menus, train staff, and maintain quality control in the kitchen.
  • Sous-Chef Supervision: Lead a team of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
  • Chef Requisitioning: Coordinate with suppliers to requisition food and kitchen supplies, arranging for equipment purchases and repairs as needed.
  • Client Consultations: Collaborate with clients to plan menus, execute events such as weddings, banquets, and specialty functions, and ensure food meets quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Cook Trade Certification: Possess a valid Cook Trade Certification or equivalent experience.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrate strong leadership skills, including initiative, flexibility, and excellent oral communication.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess efficient interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and ability to work under pressure are essential. You must be physically demanding, able to stand for extended periods, and perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 based on industry standards, considering factors like location, required skills, and the company's overall compensation strategy.
