Responsibilities
  • Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure accurate tracking and optimization of resources.
  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to cooking staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Supervise and instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food to meet our high culinary standards.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets, ensuring exceptional taste and presentation.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked kitchen and minimize waste.
  • Plan menus that meet our quality standards and align with customer preferences.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a senior leadership role in a commercial kitchen.
  • Proven track record of managing a team and achieving high-quality results.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Compensation and Benefits
