Lead Sales Executive - Marriott Hotels

We are seeking an exceptional Sales Leader to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Toronto. This is a unique opportunity to lead and motivate a sales team, driving hotel revenue growth and exceeding customer expectations.

About the Role:

This senior leadership position oversees all aspects of hotel sales, including developing and executing strategic plans to meet or exceed booking goals and property revenues. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with local organizations, interfacing with regional marketing teams, and providing customer intelligence to inform sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales performance through effective leadership, coaching, and motivation of sales teams.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market trends.
  • Promote brand awareness and product knowledge among customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with local organizations, identifying opportunities for mutually beneficial collaborations.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to inform sales strategies and improve business outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in sales and marketing leadership roles, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate high-performing sales teams.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
