Silver Hotel Group is a leading hospitality company seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join its Downtown Hotel Collection team. Located in the heart of Toronto, our collection of hotels offers exceptional service and amenities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating and contracting new/repeat business through various efforts, including prospecting, sales calls, and networking. They will also participate in annual business planning, strategy, and tactical planning to achieve revenue targets and drive growth.

In this role, you will work closely with hotel teams to deliver exceptional guest service and strong financial results. You will also contribute to the development of sales and marketing efforts within the properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve revenue targets by soliciting, negotiating, and closing new and repeat business through outside sales calls, telemarketing, mailings, referrals, and networking.
  • Participate in annual business planning, strategy, and tactical planning to drive revenue growth.
  • Submit weekly sales action plans outlining sales activities and results from previous prospecting activities.
  • Keep current on all service offerings, marketing programs, and overall property updates for each hotel.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to assigned leads and customer queries.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in sales and account management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
