We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Elby Professional Recruitment Inc. Our client, a reputable custom manufacturer, is looking for a sales professional with a strong track record of driving sales growth in the ground service equipment market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster and maintain relationships with new and existing customers within an assigned territory
  • Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company's short and long-term goals
  • Lead and mentor a sales team to achieve personal and company sales goals
  • Oversee the sales budget and allocation of resources to ensure ROI is maximized
  • Set, monitor, and work towards sales targets and KPIs to ensure consistent growth
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, customer behavior, and competitor actions to inform sales strategies
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows and conferences
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of territory sales experience from custom manufacturing industry
  • A fully developed network in the aviation and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) or equipment leasing sectors
  • Sales leadership experience, including supervising or managing a sales team
  • Accountability for sales budget
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Customer-focused, attentive, with great follow-up skills
  • Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, CRM, and ERP
  • Initiative, self-directed, strong work ethic, and a passion for sales and customer service
