Job Opportunity: Sales Manager

About the Company: Elby Professional Recruitment Inc is an established custom manufacturer seeking an experienced sales professional.

Job Description: We are looking for a sales manager to lead our growing sales team and spearhead strategic initiatives that drive sales growth in the targeted industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster and maintain relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers within an assigned territory.
  • Devise and implement sales strategies: Create and execute sales strategies that align with the company's short and long-term goals.
  • Mentor and develop the sales team: Take a lead role in mentoring, developing, and guiding the sales team to achieve personal and company sales goals.
  • Oversee sales budget: Oversee the sales budget and allocation of resources to ensure ROI is maximized.
  • Sales targets and KPI's: Set, monitor, and work towards sales targets and KPI's to ensure consistent growth.
  • Market trends and competitor actions: Continuously monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor actions to help shape sales strategies.
  • Industry representation: Represent the company at industry trade shows and conferences.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of territory sales experience: Possess 10+ years of territory sales experience from custom manufacturing industry.
  • Network in aviation and GSE: Have a fully developed network in regard to aviation and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) or equipment leasing.
  • Sales leadership experience: Possess sales leadership experience, supervising or managing a sales team.
  • Accountability for sales budget: Accountable for sales budget.
  • Excellent communication skills: Possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Customer-focused: Customer-focused, attentive, with great follow-up skills.
  • Computer proficiency: Possess computer proficiency, Word, Excel, CRM, and ERP.
  • Initiative and work ethic: Display initiative, self-directed, strong work ethic, and a passion for sales and customer service.
