Job Summary

As a Food Service Supervisor with 15270189 CANADA INC., you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department. This includes supervising staff, coordinating activities, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that staff are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, prepare food order summaries for the chef, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Team Management: Supervise a team of 3-4 people, establish work schedules, and ensure that the team is working efficiently and effectively.
  • Communication: Prepare and communicate reports to management, and maintain open and effective communication with staff, management, and other departments.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or related environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and physically demanding work.
