Job Summary
The Social & Community Services Division of Simcoe County is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant II to provide administrative support to senior and middle managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and calendar management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to senior and middle managers, including data entry, filing, and calendar management.
- Attend meetings and take minutes as required.
- Prepare and reconcile P-card reports for approval.
- Coordinate the purchase of supplies and maintenance of office equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum one (1) year post-secondary education in office administration or equivalent.
- Demonstrated written and verbal proficiency in the French language.
- Advanced word processing, spreadsheet, and database application skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
Working Conditions
The successful candidate will work in a regular office environment and may be required to attend meetings during and after business hours.
