About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and manage a team of restaurant staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance, productivity, and morale.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
    • Monitor customer feedback and use it to make improvements to our services and products.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
    • Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Financial Management
    • Monitor and manage restaurant finances, including sales, costs, and profits.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve financial performance, including pricing, promotions, and cost control.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed, including food safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures.
    • Monitor and report any health and safety incidents or near misses.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
