Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team at Hong Thai Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Implementation

Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.

Cash Handling and Financial Management

Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records.

Staff Supervision and Development

Supervise staff in various areas of responsibility, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.

Marketing and Promotion

Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales growth and increase customer engagement.

Customer Service and Relations

Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service to maintain a positive reputation.

Inventory Management and Control

Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that supplies are adequate and costs are minimized.

Health and Safety Regulations

Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Negotiations and Partnerships

Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, as well as negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.

Requirements
  • Education

College/CEGEP degree or equivalent.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.

Language

Fluent in English.

Work Hours

30 to 40 hours per week.
