About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and manage a team of restaurant staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their job responsibilities and providing excellent customer service.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant performance, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
    • Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining accurate records of stock levels and usage.
    • Ensure that the restaurant is clean and well-maintained, including the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, including loyalty programs and promotions.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the restaurant's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
    • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a fast-food environment.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
