Sales Territory Executive Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Territory Sales Account Executive to specialize in sales, preferably located in the Dartmouth (NS), Moncton (NB), or Fredericton (NB) areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting and developing new business opportunities to grow the company's presence in the assigned sales territory.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Identifying and contacting prospective customers to increase sales and expand the company's customer base.
  • Developing and executing account plans to build strong customer relationships and achieve sales targets within the assigned sales territory.
  • Strengthening customer relationships by understanding their needs and buying processes, and offering tailored Cummins solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Negotiating effectively within company guidelines to secure new business and drive sales growth.
  • Assisting with accounts receivables and maintaining acceptable levels of past due accounts.
  • Driving sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction through consistent use of Cummins tools and processes.

  • Negotiations Excellence: Use tools and methods to achieve mutually agreed contract terms.
  • Account Planning: Identify objectives and track progress to drive execution of business strategies.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Required: College, university, or equivalent degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related subject, or acceptable sales-related work experience, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.

Qualifications:

  • Build customer relationships while seeding new engines in the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Priority will be given to candidates preferably located in the Dartmouth (NS), Moncton (NB), or Fredericton (NB) areas.

Compensation and Benefits:

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our Company Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
