About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Adroit Facilities Services Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Prepare and manage budgets to ensure that cleaning and maintenance costs are controlled and optimized.
  • Service Coordination: Coordinate with other departments to ensure that cleaning and maintenance services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Financial Management: Manage financial records and ensure that all payments are made in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and ensure that our services meet their expectations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Environment: Wet/damp, noisy, odours, dusty, outdoors, hot
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, reliability
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years, permanent position, 30 hours per week, English language
