Key Responsibilities- Hire and Train Cleaning Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Manage Budget and Resources: Prepare and manage budgets for cleaning and maintenance services, ensuring that we are using our resources efficiently and effectively.
- Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards and that any issues are addressed promptly.
- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our cleaning staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our standards.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Work Site Environment: Wet/damp, noisy, odours, dusty, outdoors, hot
- Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, reliability
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years, permanent position, 30 hours per week
- Fast-paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
- Physical Demands: The role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
