About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Operations Supervisor to join our team at Adroit Facilities Services Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our cleaning staff and ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that our clients' facilities are clean, safe, and meet our high standards.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Prepare and manage budgets for cleaning operations, ensuring that costs are controlled and expenses are minimized.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and to ensure that their expectations are met.
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our cleaning staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure that cleaning operations are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Work Environment: Wet/damp, noisy, odorous, dusty, outdoors, and hot environments
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, and reliability
