Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire 081. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates, ensuring they are meeting sales targets and providing exceptional customer service.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that customers receive a high level of service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
    • Monitor customer feedback and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Store Operations
    • Oversee the daily operations of the store, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance.
    • Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained, meeting Canadian Tire 081's standards.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage store budgets, including inventory, labor, and expenses.
    • Monitor sales performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Team Development
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of sales associates.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to sales associates to improve their performance.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The work environment is dynamic, with tight deadlines and a focus on customer satisfaction.
