Create new recipes that meet quality standards and customer preferences. Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food to maintain consistency and excellence. Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets. Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation and service.

Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities in multiple restaurants to ensure consistency and quality across locations. Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets, and specialty functions to understand their needs and preferences. Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain inventory levels and ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Lead and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high standards of quality and safety. Develop and implement menu planning and resource allocation strategies to optimize kitchen operations and reduce costs. Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new menu items and promotions to drive sales and customer engagement.
